The Royal Terrace offered a fantastic stay with beautifully decorated rooms. The art throughout the hotel added a unique charm. My room had a large bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast impressed, especially the full Scottish option. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the city center. the lack of an elevator posed a challenge with all the stairs, especially after a long day exploring. It would have been great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room too. Nonetheless, the attentive staff really enhanced the experience.

We had an awesome time staying here! The location was perfect, just a short walk to Scott Monument and the Scottish National Gallery. The staff was super helpful, even offering to carry our bags up the stairs. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options to choose from. Definitely recommend this spot for a fun group getaway!
One downside was that there was no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs.

The room was nicely decorated with unique touches and very comfy. I loved the views from the window, and it felt cozy like home. The art around the hotel added charm, making it feel more like a gallery than just a place to stay. Just be aware of the stairs. it can be a workout! A few small noise distractions from outside, but nothing too bothersome. a pleasant space to relax after a day of exploring.
